Oil & Gas Spill Prevention Training @ Range Resources

The Unconventional Oil & Gas Industry in Pennsylvania is required to prevent, report and remediate spills in accordance with state laws and regulations. State laws and regulatory requirements for reporting and remediating spills can be complex with multiple bureaus of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) having responsibility. Industry experts have developed unique and innovative technologies for maintaining a high level of compliance for preventing, reporting, and remediating spills, while working successfully with the different Bureaus and regions of PA DEP. Recently, in concert with spill prevention and reporting there have been substantive revisions to what is to be included in unconventional well site Pollution Prevention Control (PPC) Plans. Representatives from the PA DEP will present these revisions and provide an overview of the process and how they have been working effectively with industry.

Join oil and gas industry stakeholders to obtain a comprehensive overview of oil & gas industry requirements for spill prevention and compliance and most importantly PPC plans. Industry experts and PA DEP representatives will provide a unique look at best practices and utilizing new technologies and equipment to achieve spill prevention and compliance. We will also be testing attendees’ knowledge on if a spill is reportable or not.
