Cutting Through the Noise: Unpacking Methane Emissions Data for Real-World Impact
Sponsored by Insight M
Methane measurement is evolving rapidly, but separating signal from noise remains a challenge for the energy industry. Join S&P Global and Insight M for an in-depth session that explores how anonymized data is being used to assess both absolute and relative methane emissions across U.S. basins. The discussion will highlight the progress made, the barriers still ahead, and what it takes to build a credible record of performance in emissions management.
Adding scientific rigor to the conversation, Dr. Elena Berman, CTO of Insight M, will cut through the clutter of recent research by distilling complex findings into clear, actionable insights. She will share perspectives on technology capabilities, measurement frequency, and detection sensitivity—helping attendees understand not just where the science stands today, but how it can be applied to drive real reductions.

The Future of LNG
Sponsored by TRC
LNG export facilities have faced regulatory headwinds in prior administrations, but recent federal policy has provided clear direction and market opportunities. The Department of Energy (DOE) has resumed regular processing of applications for exports to non–free trade agreement (non FTA) countries under the Natural Gas Act. New export projects have been approved in Louisiana and Texas, and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) has launched an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) to modernize LNG facility regulations—to fast-track infrastructure, expand capacity, and stimulate small-scale LNG markets. This session will focus on opportunities for Pennsylvania natural gas delivery to the LNG export market.
