Pittsburgh, PA (Nov. 15, 2022) – Following Shell Chemical Appalachia’s announcement that the Shell Polymers Monaca facility has commenced operations, Marcellus Shale Coalition president David Callahan released the following announcement.
“This is a historic day for Pennsylvania and an important case study of how competitive, pro-energy job policies can create sustained economic growth for the Commonwealth and our nation. Built by thousands of our talented and hardworking regional building trades partners, Shell’s world-class manufacturing facility is enhancing our quality of life by turning natural gas liquids into the building blocks for essential consumer goods and medical supplies,” Marcellus Shale Coalition president David Callahan said.
“We’re proud of the hard work by Shell, and so many others, involved in completing this project. Commonsense policies that encourage and promote job-creating investment will continue to unlock additional economic and environmental benefits associated with our abundant natural gas resources,” Callahan continued.
