In-person event addresses top business, regulatory matters including ESG, energy and environment policy, and hydrogen
PITTSBURGH, Pa., SEPT. 16, 2021 – One of the nation’s leading conferences on shale energy development, Shale InsightTM, returns in-person this year to the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, Pa. Featuring technical, in-depth sessions and conversations with top financial, energy, regulatory, and technical experts, the conference’s 11th year running will cover pressing topics focusing on the energy future for natural gas, including environmental, social and governance (ESG), state and federal policy, and the critical role of natural gas in advancing our nation’s economic and environmental goals.

The in-person conference will take place Sept. 28-30 at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie and highlight the important role the region’s natural gas production plays in driving northwest Pennsylvania’s economy.
Marisa Buchanan, Managing Director, Global Head of Sustainability with JPMorgan Chase will provide a keynote presentation on sustainability investments and ESG reporting, particularly as it relates to the energy sector.
Attendees and media will also hear from top industry executives including William Jordan, Executive Vice President and General Counsel at EQT Corporation, Tim Beard, Vice President – Northern Region at Chesapeake Energy, Tim Dugan, President and CEO of Olympus Energy, Scott Roy, Senior Vice President at Range Resources, and Greg Floerke, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer Gather and Processing and T&R at MPLX LP, among others.
Representing the Biden Administration, Dr. Jennifer Wilcox, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management will discuss the Department of Energy’s new focus on carbon management. Dr. Brian Anderson, director of the National Energy Technology Laboratory, will similarly discuss new technologies and innovations to further enhance environmental performance of energy production, transportation and use.
