There are a number of companies involved with responsibly developing natural gas from the Marcellus Shale. The Marcellus Shale Coalition (MSC) is proud to represent the majority of these companies. A complete list of exploration and production companies (these are the companies that lease land and develop natural gas), midstream companies (midstream companies build and operate pipelines, compressor stations and processing plants), oil field service companies (these companies provide a host of support services, including hydraulic fracturing) as well as supply chain support companies (ranging from environmental and legal experts, as well as steel manufacturers) are available on the MSC’s website.
