Delaware Co. Times: Input Wanted on Marcellus Shale Natural Gas Drilling

An organization backed by the natural gas industry is seeking input from residents in the Philadelphia region, including Delaware County, about Marcellus Shale natural gas drilling.

The Marcellus Shale Coalition launched an online forum last month in an effort to better understand questions residents from the five-county Philadelphia region have about natural gas development in Pennsylvania, according to coalition President Kathryn Klaber.

Residents can submit their questions on the website, www.AskAboutShale.org, through July 20.

After the listening phase of this project, natural gas producers will join stakeholders from the industry, academia and public sector to answer the questions of residents with facts and research, according to Klaber.
