In the wake of Tropical Storm Debby, northern Pennsylvania communities have been grappling with the devastating aftermath of severe flooding and damage. Amidst this crisis, local energy companies have stepped up in remarkable ways, demonstrating their commitment to the communities where they live and work.

From significant financial contributions and match pledges to the Red Cross, United Way and local fire departments to sending essential supplies and equipment, companies like Seneca Resources, Repsol, Range Resources, Energy Transfer, Chesapeake Energy, Coterra, EQT, Williams, National Fuel Gas, Southwestern Energy and PGE are jumping in. In particular, companies are working to establish temporary housing for displaced residents, as well as provide crucial roadway repair services and emergency equipment. Key industry service companies are also on the ground delivering meals and donating hydrovacs to aid with the historic clean up effort.

In addition, the Marcellus Shale Coalition’s Public Relations and Education Committee chairs are working with the Tioga County Emergency Management Services division to connect volunteers with various communities’ needs.
