Responding to the proposed Methane Emissions Reduction Tax currently before Congress, leaders from Appalachia’s shale gas industries – the Marcellus Shale Coalition, Gas & Oil Association of West Virginia, and the Ohio Oil and Gas Association – penned a joint letter expressing concerns with policies that deter innovation and investments in American energy development.
