PITTSBURGH – Marcellus Shale Coalition president David Callahan released the following statement regarding today’s historic Supreme Court action in the case involving PennEast Pipeline.
“This historic and precedent-setting decision reinforces the rule of law as it relates to the siting and construction of essential infrastructure, including and especially energy pipelines. Our nation is blessed with an abundance of natural gas which is safely transported by pipeline to power our economy, fuel small businesses, schools and hospitals, and ensure America is well positioned to rebuild our manufacturing sector while driving down emissions, lowering costs, and further strengthening our energy security.”
