University Research Showcase
Natural gas energy industry focused students are invited to partake in the SHALE INSIGHT® 2025 University Research Showcase on September 17-18. The University Research Showcase will allow students and faculty to showcase their groundbreaking studies, projects and research while networking with the nation’s foremost leaders on shale development. Selected participants will be presented certificates of achievement on the Conference main stage prior to the closing keynote. Don’t miss this opportunity to network, build your resume and showcase your work!

Details
If you have a study, project or research that you would like to showcase, please review the details and apply by May 14. For questions or additional information, please contact Loren Anderson at landerson@marcelluscoalition.org.
Topics may include: subsurface research in drilling, hydraulic fracturing, groundwater monitoring, boring and logging techniques, as well as, “end use” potential; getting gas to market transportation/infrastructure, and increased energy efficiency concepts. “Non-technical” topics are also welcome, such as the social and economic impacts of abundant and inexpensive energy made possible by natural gas.
Up to 8 students will be selected to participate in the University Research Showcase. Once the submissions have been reviewed, the SHALE INSIGHT® Conference University Research Showcase committee will announce the selected participants. Following the initial congratulatory email, you will have two days to reply and accept.
If selected, participants will receive:
- (1) Complimentary Conference registration
- $500 Honorarium
- 8’ x 4’ poster board, Velcro and thumbtacks for displaying
- Certificate of Achievement with recognition at the closing keynote
