Pennsylvania’s natural gas development is under attack. Take Action below.

Legislation is under consideration in the General Assembly that will increase setback distances for natural gas development. These setback distances are not intended to protect the public; they are intended to stop natural gas development in its tracks. Additionally, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is considering imposing draconian setback distances – of up to one mile – by regulation. This approach circumvents the elected General Assembly and would effectively prohibit any new development of Pennsylvania’s natural gas resources.

Contact your legislators and urge them to oppose legislation to increase setbacks and to engage with the Environmental Quality Board to stop them from circumventing the legislative process with even more drastic setbacks.  Take Action!
