Natural gas development is a tightly regulated industrial process. And like all industrial activities, there is some risk. But natural gas producers and government officials continue to work collaboratively to ensure this risk is mitigated at every step of the process by leveraging new and more efficient technologies. Each and every day, thousands of Pennsylvanians are working to safely develop this resource. When an accident occurs – regardless of size or scope – we as an industry learn from that incident to help ensure something similar doesn’t occur again.
