At the Marcellus Shale Coalition, we work closely with all levels of government and a variety of community stakeholders. When the time comes, we would welcome the opportunity to sit down with the next Mayor of Philadelphia, and discuss the economic impacts and environmental benefits of natural gas operations. It should also be noted, that over the past few years, the MSC has reached out to a number of City of Philadelphia officials, including Mayor Nutter himself, who spoke at our annual conference last fall, representatives from the Mayor’s office, City Council and other municipal agencies.
