The development of the Marcellus Shale has already created jobs and new investment and has the potential to create sustained economic growth, including hundreds of thousands of new jobs across dozens of business and professional service sectors, payments to landowners in the form of lease and royalty fees and revenue to local and state governments.
The Marcellus Shale Coalition (MSC) represents the natural gas industry to the government, regulators and the public regarding the development of energy from the Marcellus Shale formation. It is registered in Pennsylvania as a 501(c)6 membership organization.
If your company is NOT a member of the Marcellus Shale Coalition and would like to join, please submit a membership request form by visiting the Get Involved form found on the Marcellus Coalition.org website. Membership is for private sector businesses only. Individuals cannot be a member of the MSC. Government Agencies, nonprofits and media are not eligible to join as members of the MSC.
